He's Beautiful is a highly-popular Korean drama series about the make-believe idol group - A.N.JELL. the show starred Jang Geun Suk, Park Shin Hye, Lee Hong ki and Jung Yong Hwa. The series instantly became part of the Korean Wave because of its huge success. And despite of its mediocre ratings, many fans and supporters watched it online. The series was also reported to have cult following because of its immense impact on the fans and supporters. You’re Beautiful topped on various video hosting sites and received positive reviews and remarks. Thus, You’re Beautiful is considered as one of the most popular and most-watched drama series of 2009.

And after its successful run in South Korea, the well-loved drama series will soon be aired in the Philippines through ABS-CBN. ABS-CBN will be using “He’s Beautiful” instead of its English title, “You’re Beautiful”. And because of its unique title, the drama attracts many Korean drama fans. Even though the network hasn’t yet released any official teaser or trailer for the series, many of its Filipino fans are excited and interested to watch the drama. He’s Beautiful becomes the most-anticipated and much-awaited drama series to be aired in the Philippines this year. Although the series is not yet airing, He’s Beautiful already gained lots of attention and extreme popularity from the netizens.


Many of its Pinoy fans are requesting ABS-CBN to start airing the series, however, up till now, the airing date of He’s Beautiful is not yet confirmed by the network. But according to rumors, the series is planning to be aired this summer, replacing SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon) on the primetime block.

This is the first time that a Korean drama series would suddenly gain huge popularity before being aired on local television. And because of these, would it be possible that, He’s Beautiful would bring another phenomenon and nationwide craze after the mega hit Taiwanese series, Meteor Garden?
